Site Selection and Renovation Specialist

Position Title: Site Selection and Renovation Specialist

Work Location: Jakarta

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Job Overview

Responsible for the entire process of site selection, engineering management of renovation projects, and procurement of work furniture for the new campus of the education and training school in Jakarta, ensuring the efficient implementation of the new campus and its compliance with teaching requirements and budget standards.

Core Responsibilities

Location Selection Assessment and Negotiation

Conduct research on various regions in Jakarta, analyze pedestrian flow, traffic, competitors, and rental costs, and provide site selection recommendations. Coordinate negotiations on lease terms between real estate agents and property owners, and assist in completing contract signing.

Decoration Project Management

Develop a renovation budget and schedule, supervise the construction progress and quality, and ensure compliance with safety and teaching functional requirements (such as classroom sound insulation, lighting, etc.). Interface with designers, construction teams, and government approval departments to handle documents such as renovation permits.

Furniture and Equipment Procurement

Procure desks, chairs, work furniture, electronic equipment, etc. according to campus needs, screen local suppliers, and optimize cost and quality. Manage logistics installation and acceptance, and handle after-sales issues.

Compliance and Standards

Ensure that the site selection and decoration comply with local educational institution regulations, fire protection, and safety standards in Jakarta.

Job Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in commercial site selection, renovation project management, or related fields, with familiarity with the Jakarta real estate market and renovation processes.
• Those with experience in expanding educational institutions or chain stores are preferred.
• Proficient in local Indonesian decoration materials, furniture procurement channels, and cost control. Proficient in using Excel (budget management).
• Strong negotiation and XFN coordination skills, adaptable to high-intensity work.
• Familiarity with the geography and culture of each district in Jakarta, and those with rich local connections will receive extra points.
• Fluency in Indonesian, with proficiency in English or Chinese communication preferred (if the team requires cross-border collaboration).
