Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Become the owner of services in CoLearn, identifying improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with the product team to develop effective products.
• Take part in on-call rotation to resolve technical issues.
• Mentor junior team members to aid their growth.

What You’ll Do as a Senior Software Engineer:

With a clear vision for the future, we're building a lean, high-performing engineering team in Jakarta to collaborate closely with our operations and product teams.

• End-to-End Service Ownership: Become the owner of services in CoLearn, capable of identifying improvements based on growing needs
• Product Development: Collaborate with product team to build good and right product for our students and teachers
• On-Call: Be part of on-call rotation, acknowledge, identify and resolve technical issue when it arises
• Mentoring: Help juniors to grow technically and professionally through mentoring

We’d Love to Hear from You if You Have:

• At least 5+ experience in software engineering on high throughput systems (min. 1000 RPM)
• Strong Backend and Database Experience - Having Ruby on Rails (RoR) and Postgres experience is a big plus
• Have either Infra or SDET experience
• Showing strong product ownership - capable of challenging product requirements and providing feedbacks while not challenging for the sake of challenging
• Can-do attitude - Not deterred by limitations, capable of leveraging the available resources to resolve the problem.
