• Advise management on competitive pricing strategies.
• Ensure proper documentation for purchase requisitions.
• Forecast and plan for raw materials.

Job Purpose

• Execute the purchasing function for operations
• Liaise with suppliers on any quality issue so as to ensure quality material is being supplied to production floor.
• Provide production teams in information on material costs to enhance the competitive edge of the operations.
• Manage the inventory level for raw materials, to minimize inventory holding costs.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure a smooth flow of material supplies.
• Ability to source for reliable material to meet operations requirements.
• Source and negotiate price of the purchase of material for approval.
• Ensure proper updating and accuracy of data on material supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers and expedite on required items and ensure prompt deliveries.
• Advise management on the competitive pricing strategy based on material costs.
• Ensure proper documentations for purchase requisitions.
• Forecast and plan for raw materials to ensure availability to meet production needs.
• Performance other ad-hoc assignments to be directed by the superior.
