A reputable garment company in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to manage garment costing, sourcing trims and fabrics, and conducting negotiations with suppliers. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the garment industry and possesses excellent communication and leadership skills. The role requires the ability to work under pressure and collaborate with team members effectively. This position represents a key function within the production process, and a strong ability to multitask is essential.

Job Description
  • Garment costing and analysis
  • Handling price quotations & negotiations with buyer / supplier / business partner
  • Fabric Analysis and price negotiation with mills
  • Garment structure analysis
  • Sourcing trims and fabrics from domestic and overseas vendors
  • Monitoring trims and fabric purchases
  • Monitoring and following up on sampling requirements of each account.
  • Closely monitor final approvals of styling, fabric and trims prior to production
  • T&A maintained well to support production team
  • Conducting weekly marketing, production planning & quality meetings (if needed due to urgent condition)
  • Review and prompt action based on utilization reports of purchases & shipped goods
  • Monitoring pre and post shipment confirmations with shipping department and forwarders
  • Handling new product developments
  • Delegating, Motivating and Guiding team members
  • Monitoring time & action calendars and it’s fulfilment
