About the job Senior Manager - Corporate Development

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing investors, ensuring they are informed about the company's performance, strategy, and growth plans.
  • Prepare and present regular updates, financial reports, and strategic plans to investors.
  • Organize and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences to attract and retain investors.
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital for growth initiatives.
  • Identify potential investors, including venture capitalists, private equity firms, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare detailed investment proposals, pitch decks, and financial models.
  • Lead negotiations and due diligence processes with potential investors.
  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities aligned with the companys strategic goals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market assessment, and risk evaluation.
  • Manage the entire M&A process, from initial contact to closing, including integration planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure successful deal execution.
  • Work closely with the executive team to develop and refine the companys long-term strategic plan.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and threats.
  • Develop business cases for new initiatives, including entry into new markets, product development, and partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Create and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans to senior management.
  • Work with various departments, including finance, operations, and sales, to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to department heads to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams on special projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, preferably with exposure to the logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of managing investor relations, fundraising, M&A transactions, and strategic planning.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, financial databases, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and capital markets.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-making abilities.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience working in or with a Big 4 corporate finance or transaction advisory practice.
  • Familiarity with the logistics industry, including knowledge of supply chain management, transportation, and distribution.
