Overview

Develop, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, tailored to meet specific business objectives and decision-making needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals, operational processes, and KPIs, leveraging strong business domain knowledge to translate those needs into effective technical solutions. Work cross-functionally with product owners, operations, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, define data needs, and deliver impactful analytical outputs. Translate business requirements into scalable data models, SQL queries, and reporting logic, ensuring alignment between data outputs and business expectations. Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis across multiple data sources. Ensure high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, applying robust validation, reconciliation. Enforce and contribute to data governance policies, including data cataloging, metadata management, access control, and documentation of business logic and data definitions. Support migration efforts from legacy reports/dashboards to centralized BI platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining historical data continuity. Automate manual reporting processes and streamline data workflows, using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, or Python. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of reports and dashboards, ensuring they are reliable, timely, and responsive to user needs. Educate and empower end users across departments to interpret dashboards, use self-service analytics tools, and apply data insights effectively in their roles. Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve analytics solutions and bring innovation to the organization’s data strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, root cause investigation, and data quality validation, with a strong understanding of data lifecycle and integrity.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis; experience with Python for data processing, automation, or scripting is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics; familiarity with GCP or AWS platforms is a plus.
• Strong expertise in Power BI for developing dashboards, data models, visualizations, and DAX calculations to support business decision-making.
• Good understanding of data governance, data quality assurance best practices.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering clean, accurate, and actionable data.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and analytical solutions.
• Effective stakeholder management, capable of working with both technical and non-technical audiences to gather requirements, deliver insights, and drive data-driven decisions.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams within Agile, Scrum, or other project-based environments, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
