Job summary

A leading environmental services company based in Jakarta Utara is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Staff to support finance and accounting operations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, conducting month-end activities, and providing analytical support for decision-making. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Finance, strong proficiency in financial software, and knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards. Fluent Mandarin is a plus.

About the role

PT MULIA DAYA LESTARI is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Staff to join our dynamic team in our Jakarta Utara office. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the overall finance and accounting operations of our growing organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models and forecasting tools
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and the management team, to provide financial insights and advice
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and documented appropriately
• Support the implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a similar industry
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin and English is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
• Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel, SAP)
• Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
