A leading international financial services provider in Jakarta is seeking a senior back-end developer with over 10 years of experience in Oracle databases, PLSQL, Java, and Jasper Reports. Design and implement robust and scalable back-end systems tailored to the insurance industry's specific needs, ensuring they support complex business logic and regulatory compliance.
Develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle Databases to efficiently handle large volumes of data. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance through advanced SQL & PLSQL scripting and database tuning.
Write and maintain high-quality SQL, PLSQL & Java code for server-side applications, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components and third-party systems used in insurance operations.
Develop and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports as well as Jasper Reports to generate accurate and timely business reports. Customize reporting solutions to meet the dynamic needs of insurance stakeholders.
Conduct performance analysis and implement improvements to ensure applications are efficient, responsive, and capable of handling peak loads typical in insurance transactions.
Implement industry-standard security practices to safeguard sensitive insurance data. Ensure all systems comply with regulatory requirements, such as those related to data protection and privacy.
Proactively analyze and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining business continuity in critical insurance processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, products team, actuaries, underwriters, and claims processors, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
