Overview

This role supports the procurement team by managing daily supplier interactions, assisting with sourcing activities, and supporting data analysis and supply base segmentation. It helps ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing aligned with company standards while collaborating closely with strategic sourcing, shared services, and internal stakeholders.

What You\'ll Do
  • You will provide operational support to local procurement teams and deliver first-pass sourcing recommendations.
  • You will support supply base segmentation by conducting market research, analyzing supplier data, and preparing sourcing recommendations.
  • You will assist with competitive bid processes, including RFQ preparation, bid analysis, and documentation.
  • You will help identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk reduction.
  • You will assist in obtaining quotes, negotiating basic terms, and evaluating supplier capabilities.
  • You will maintain and strengthen relationships with regional and local suppliers.
  • You will support feedback, process improvement, and compliance for all e-sourcing activities.
  • You will analyze and report performance metrics to support Commercial Council needs.
  • You will ensure effective collaboration between strategic sourcing teams and shared services transactional teams.
  • You will collaborate on PO creation, supplier onboarding, and resolution of operational issues such as delivery delays or invoice discrepancies.
  • You will maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, and category documentation.
  • You will meet aspirational training goals for the 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process and Enhanced Sourcing Tools.
What We\'re Looking For
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • You bring 1–3 years of relevant work experience (preferred).
  • You have hands-on experience using SAP.
  • You are flexible with your schedule and willing to work on weekends on an on-call basis.
  • You have an understanding of engineering concepts, particularly spare parts, and are willing to support the team as needed.
  • You have experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) categories.
  • You have a manufacturing industry background.
