About Us

O International (Coffee Plantation) is a Lao company specializing in coffee plantation, production, processing, and sales in Champasak, Laos. Our team is led by international experts with global experience in the coffee business. We are a part of Lao Asean Leasing Public Company (LALCO), one of Laos's largest privately owned conglomerates with diverse business interests.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Administrative Officer, your responsibilities will include:

Stakeholder and Government Relations

Acting as the main company representative in communications and meetings with local and national government officials.

Liaising with government offices to obtain and renew necessary licenses, permits, and approvals for all business activities.

Serving as the primary point of contact for general inquiries from suppliers, customers, and other external parties, providing professional and timely responses.

Coordinating and managing meetings with external stakeholders and community representatives.

Administrative and HR Management

Overseeing and maintaining comprehensive records of employee leave and other personnel-related documents.

Managing all company assets, including tracking the use of vehicles and equipment.

Leading the sourcing and purchasing of office supplies, equipment, and other items related to farm activities.

Assisting with preparing salary payment documents for all workers.

Supporting the team with general administrative duties and CSR initiatives.

Translation and Communication

Performing professional translation and interpretation from Lao into English, and vice versa, for all business communications and meetings.

Other Supporting Tasks

Supporting in sales and marketing activities, and import/export permits related activities.

Supporting in general administrative duties, company's CSR activities, and processing activities.

Supporting in maintenance and recording resident list for staff rooms, worker houses.

Other duties assigned by management.

Experience & Qualifications
Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative or office management role. Experience in a business or NGO with a focus on government liaison or external relations is highly preferred.

Communication Skills

You must be a Lao native speaker with a high degree of fluency in both written and spoken Lao. Professional working proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively with our expatriate management team and international partners.

Professionalism

You must be able to professionally represent the company in all external interactions, demonstrating maturity, discretion, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Knowledge

Preferred knowledge of the coffee, agriculture, or industrial processing sectors.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with a wide range of office equipment.

Work Location & Compensation

Work Location: This is a full-time position based in Paksong, Champasak Province, Lao-PDR.

Salary Range: USD 500 to USD 1,000 (Based on experience and qualifications). We also offer a competitive benefits package, including a staff dormitory.
