Job summary

A leading international trading firm in Jakarta is looking for an experienced sales professional to generate sales and manage distributor relationships in the petrochemicals industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of sales experience in PET marketing and PVC resin sales, along with strong negotiation skills and the ability to identify new market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in PET marketing and PVC resin sales.
  • Experience in specialty polymers, PP, PE, etc.
  • Experience in selling to distributors and dealers.

Our client is a US based international group. They are an industry leader in the global trade and distribution market. They specialize in offering petrochemicals and plastics ingredients such as PP, PE, PET, PVC resins, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales, achieve targets and payment collections within timeline.
  • Manage distributors and dealers.
  • Manage, retain and grow sales, increase market share with existing customers.
  • Develop and manage customer relationship to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities.
  • Negotiate the terms of contract and close sales deals.
  • Forecasting, preparing budget and achieving targets as per budget.
  • Responsible for managing regular order flow as per budget.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance,
  • Extensive visit to existing and potential customers on regular basis to generate new business.
  • Identifies product improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market activities.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending workshops, establishing personal networks.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • At least 8 years of sales experience in PET marketing and PVC resin sales.
