5–10 years proven experience in container shipping, freight forwarding, NVOCC, or maritime logistics, with strong exposure to export–import markets in Indonesia.

Bachelor’s degree in Port & Shipping Management, Maritime Studies, Logistics, SCM, International Business, or related major preferred.

Leadership capability with experience mentoring or supervising sales teams.

Strategic account management experience—comfortable handling key accounts, large shippers, forwarders, and NVOCC partners.

Will work closely with local sales team and the Korean Owner Representative; therefore strong spoken English is mandatory.

Comfortable with metropolitan business culture, including industry networking, after-work events, and client entertainment.

Highly social, persuasive, modern, open-minded, and able to build strong relationships across multicultural environments.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

High resilience, target‑driven mentality, and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Job Description

Lead and manage the Jakarta Sales Team, ensuring optimal performance, clear targets, and consistent follow‑up on accounts and new business opportunities.

Develop and execute strategic commercial plans to grow CK Line’s export and import volumes across Greater Jakarta, Cikarang, Karawang, Tangerang, and surrounding industrial hubs.

Proactively drive field sales activities—customer visits, market scouting, relationship building, and direct engagement with key stakeholders (shippers, freight forwarders, NVOCCs).

Oversee major account management, including rate negotiations, allocation discussions, service proposals, and key customer presentations.

Coordinate closely with the Korean Owner Representative and Jakarta management to align sales direction, volume targets, and pricing strategy.

Review, approve, and guide the preparation of quotations, contract proposals, and tariff structures to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

Monitor market movements, competitor behavior, and supply–demand changes; provide weekly commercial intelligence to management and principals.

Evaluate team performance through structured sales pipelines, weekly activity logs, KPIs, and forecasting accuracy.

Ensure strong collaboration with Operations, Customer Service, Documentation, and Finance to support seamless shipment handling and customer satisfaction.

Represent CK Line Indonesia at customer meetings, networking events, shipping associations, and after‑hours business functions when required.

Strengthen CK Line’s brand presence in the Jakarta market through consistent customer engagement and professional representation.
