Accountabilities

• Work on complex technical projects with a global team in a fast-paced environment.
• Play an individual contributor role with high accountability.
• Document work and proactively communicate with team members.
• Contribute positively to small team dynamics as both an individual contributor and a team member.
• Manage infrastructure automation and provisioning.
• Ensure smooth operation of Compute and Storage infrastructure.
• Maximize uptime for global systems infrastructure across multiple data centers.
• Implement and manage Cloud and Managed Hosting infrastructure.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Operating Systems, web servers, cluster management, auth/directory services, backups, SSL certificates, DNS, SNMP, SSH.
• Experience with Linux and Solaris operating systems, including daily upkeep.
• Familiarity with scripting/programming in Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of Virtualization technologies such as OpenStack and VMWare.
• Experience in setting up compute and storage infrastructure across private and public cloud environments.
