Quality Control Engineer (Technician Handphone/Laptop)

The QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring all products meet FOOM Lab's quality standards through electrical and instrumentation checks, reliability tests, and process audits. This role supports manufacturing of devices with high precision such as smartphones, laptops, and other electronic products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of electronic and electrical components (PCBs, batteries, sensors, etc.).
• Perform functional testing and validation of devices based on test protocols.
• Monitor and calibrate electrical testing instruments regularly.
• Support root cause analysis for product failures and assist in corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and QA teams to maintain quality throughout the production line.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs.
• Maintain clear documentation of test results, inspection records, and quality metrics.
• Sug gest improvements in testing procedures and QC tools to enhance efficiency and product reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics, smartphone, or laptop production.
• Basic knowledge of electrical testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, LCR meters, etc.).
• Familiar with quality inspection standards such as IPC, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, high-standard production environment.
