Job summary

A polymer engineering services company in Batam is looking for a professional to coordinate new project/product introductions for automotive and non-automotive products. Responsibilities include implementing APQP and PPAP methodologies, conducting feasibility studies, maintaining material lists using SAP, and liaising with customers on technical issues. Candidates will be involved in the transition of products to mass production. Strong project management and technical skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new project/product introduction for both automotive and non-automotive products.
• Implement APQP and PPAP methodology for new projects, including automotive and/or medical products.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide DFM based on customer drawings.
• Create Cost Breakdown (CBD) for new products.
• Maintain Material Master list, including BOM, using SAP.
• Coordinate engineering sample build and shipment.
• Liaise with customers and/or program manager teams for technical issues related to product and raw materials.
• Transfer or hand over product to the production team once ready for mass production.
