A leading oil and gas company in Jakarta Utara is seeking a skilled Petroleum Technologist to enhance field operations and technical development. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering and at least 5 years of experience within the industry. Responsibilities include executing production plans, managing well operations, and automating production processes. Strong English communication and proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office are essential.

Prepare and execute production and project plans using efficient technological solutions to improve oil and gas output.
Calculate, justify, and implement technical requirements for active, inactive, and shut-in wells in line with industry regulations.
Ensure proper use and compliance when operating electric submersible pumps (ESP), progressive cavity pumps (PCP), and sucker-rod pumps (SRP). Support the sourcing of tools and equipment for artificial‑lift operations and water injection.
Contribute to the automation of oil and gas production processes and recommend cost‑effective solutions.
Participate in investigating well equipment failures, analyzing different artificial‑lift systems, identifying deviations, and proposing corrective actions.
Assist in preparing annual, monthly, and quarterly reviews and maintenance plans to support production enhancement initiatives.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Petroleum Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Petroleum Engineer or in roles related to artificial‑lift and well operations.
Familiarity with petroleum engineering software.
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Access, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of production programs, oil production schedules, and technical calculation methods.
Ability to prepare clear, comprehensive, and structured technical reports and analyses.
Experience: Minimum 5 years
