Job description

This is a key leadership role responsible for assisting, organizing, directing, and running day-to-day production operations at the feedmill to meet the company’s plans, procedures, and work standards. The goal is to ensure operational excellence in safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost management, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure smooth daily production operations to meet production targets and maintain standard product quality.
• Provide direction, leadership, development, and support to direct reports through empowerment.
• Develop, implement, and promote safety programs and safe work practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Ensure product and workplace qualities by following all procedures and guidelines.
• Actively participate in team safety efforts to achieve or exceed plant goals.
• Lead change management initiatives and foster accountability.
• Coach and develop supervisors and operators to enhance skills and performance.
• Take leadership in routine production problem-solving.
• Coordinate periodic programs and monthly checklists.
• Ensure sufficient employee coverage for each shift.

Qualifications

Candidate MUST have:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from reputable universities with minimum GPA of 3.00
• Fresh Graduates with some internship experiences or maximum 2 years working experiences in similar responsibility
• High initiative with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) or MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Analytical skills with process analysis and optimization capabilities, and a continuous improvement (Kaizen) mindset.
• Preferably fluent in English (verbal and written) and knowledgeable in machinery and electrical systems.
• Preferably residing in North Sumatra, especially Serdang Bedagai, Medan, or surrounding areas.
