A growing international school in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Head of Junior High School to lead academic and Religion education programs. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality learning and strong Qur’anic values through the effective implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, monitoring student achievement, and building communication with stakeholders. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Junior High School (SMP) to lead our academic and Religion education programs. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality learning, strong Qur’anic values, and effective implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum within a bilingual learning environment.
Lead and manage the Junior High School academic and Religion programs.
Implement and monitor the Cambridge Curriculum for Math, English, and Science.
Ensure integration of Qur’anic values and achievement of Tahfizh target (10 Juz).
Supervise teachers, tahfizh instructors, and student affairs.
Monitor student achievement, character development, and discipline.
Build strong communication with parents and school stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in school leadership or academic management.
Strong understanding of Religion education and Qur’anic values.
Experience with Cambridge Curriculum is highly preferred.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to Al-Quran and Hadits values.
