About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Plant Manager to lead the set-up of a new manufacturing facility in South Cikarang, West Java. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end establishment of this new plant, ensuring the smooth integration of operations, processes and systems to drive the facility to full productivity. This is a crucial leadership role that will have a significant impact on the growth and success of Suryatama's manufacturing capabilities.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement the operational strategy and plans for the new plant, aligning with the overall business objectives
• Oversee the set-up of all production, logistics, quality control and maintenance processes and systems
• Recruit, train and manage a high-performing team of plant-level staff and operators
• Ensure the facility meets all health, safety and environmental compliance requirements
• Monitor and optimise plant efficiency, productivity and quality standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate the new plant with the broader organisation
• Report on plant performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
