Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in factory or plant accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a listed company in Indonesia or in an MNC is essential.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all factory accounting transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements ensuring compliance with reporting timelines.
  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Lead standard costing, variance analysis, and reconciliation of production costs.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax and statutory regulations.
  • Manage factory-level cash flows and optimize working capital.

Location:

Probolingo near Surabaya.

Reporting To:

Group Finance Controller / CFO / COO of the plant

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all factory accounting transactions in line with company policies and Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting timelines.
  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed asset accounting.
Costing & Inventory Control
  • Lead standard costing, variance analysis, and reconciliation of production costs.
  • Monitor raw material consumption, yield, and wastage with production and supply chain teams.
  • Implement and maintain strong inventory control processes and periodic physical verification.
  • Strong understanding on Cost per unit calculations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Support preparation of factory budgets, forecasts, and rolling estimates.
  • Analyze budget vs. actual performance and identify key operational and cost variances.
Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax, statutory, and Customs regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of internal and external audits.
  • Maintain adherence to the company's internal control framework and SOX requirements (if applicable).
  • Experience handling Customs audit at plant level.
Cash Flow & Working Capital
  • Manage factory-level cash flows, payments, and cost control measures.
  • Optimize working capital through effective management of payables, receivables, and inventory.
Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead and develop the local accounting team to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure financial alignment.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in factory or plant accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a listed company in Indonesia or in an MNC is essential.
  • Strong understanding of PSAK, local taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.).
  • Fluency English (spoken and written preferred).
  • Strong presentation skills to board members.
  • If experience in Apparels or garments/fabrics or textile industry is highly preferred.
