Job description

Create and modify technical piping drawings according to project specifications.

Develop isometric drawings and layouts for piping systems.

Create material breakdowns and calculate pipe, fitting, and other component requirements.

Collaborate with clients to ensure designs comply with applicable standards and regulations.

Revise and update drawings based on design changes or client requests.

Assist the project team in providing design drawings and work/erection methods.

Qualifications:

Minimum education: STM/SMK (Vocational High School) in Engineering or equivalent.

Able to communicate actively in English.

Minimum 3 years of work experience in piping drafting/piping design.

Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D software.

Proficient in technical drawing, particularly in piping and mechanical engineering.

Able to create precise piping and isometric support drawings.

Able to create method statements such as work methods and erection methods.

Able to read and understand P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams).

Able to break down material requirements from isometric drawings, P&IDs, and pipe supports.

Familiarity with piping specifications and standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, JIS, and ASTM.

Able to create Bills of Materials (BOMs) from isometric drawings.

Experience coordinating with engineering teams regarding drawing changes and document updates.

Able to work within deadlines and complete work on time.

Able to read and explain technical project specifications.

Strong communication skills to coordinate with the project team and related parties.

Strong analytical skills and a detailed focus on drawing and document review.

Able to work independently and within a tight timeframe.

Physically and mentally healthy and willing to work within the contracted project duration.

Willing to be placed at project locations outside Indonesia (Bangkok - Thailand).
