About the role

PT Berkah Bekasi Ops' is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our growing finance team in Depok, West Java. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for our organisation, ensuring all employee payments are managed efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing
  • Preparing and processing bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and net pay
  • Ensuring payroll data is accurate and up-to-date by reviewing timesheets, leave records, and other relevant information
  • Calculating and remitting all payroll-related taxes, social security contributions, and other statutory deductions
  • Maintaining detailed payroll records and generating payslips and other payroll reports as required
  • Answering queries from employees regarding their pay and benefits
  • Collaborating with the HR team to onboard new employees and manage changes to employee records
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and implementing any necessary process improvements
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a payroll officer or similar role, preferably within the accounting or finance industry
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including the calculation of wages, deductions, and tax obligations
  • Excellent numeracy and attention to detail to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing
  • Proficient in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications
  • Good communication skills to effectively liaise with employees and other internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of Indonesian labour laws and payroll regulations
