Job summary

A leading electronics company in Jakarta Utara is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee the end-to-end payroll process. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of payroll processing experience and be certified in Brevet A & B. Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and proficiency in payroll software like SAP or Oracle are essential. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required for this role.

Job description

Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process to ensure timely and accurate salary payments.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and internal company policies.

Review and validate payroll components including overtime, deductions, bonuses, and employee benefits.

Coordinate with HR, Finance, and IT departments to ensure accurate data and smooth system integration.

Maintain and update payroll records, reports, and documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.

Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, tax matters, and statutory contributions (BPJS, PPh 21, etc.).

Supervise and guide payroll staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with standards.

Support payroll system improvements and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (including PPh 21), labor law, and BPJS administration.

Certified in Brevet A & B is required.

Experience in transitioning from manual payroll processes to system-based (automated) payroll is a strong plus.

Proficient in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Talenta, GajiHub) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a high level of accuracy.

Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data professionally.

Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across departments.

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
