Job summary

A global engineering firm is seeking a Structure Engineer to support the expansion of the largest offshore oilfield in Qatar. This role requires a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and over 4 years of experience in designing offshore structures, particularly FPSO modules. Key responsibilities include detailed design of primary nodes and secondary steel structures. Proficiency in SACS and STAAD PRO software is essential, along with a solid understanding of applicable offshore design codes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with average experience of 6–10 years designing FPSO modules.
• Strong background in fixed offshore structures for upstream oil and gas projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed design of primary nodes.
• Create detailed design of secondary and tertiary steel structures.
• Compile design reports.

Skills

Proficient in SACS

Proficient in STAAD PRO

Good knowledge of offshore design codes

Education

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
