Job summary

A prominent mining company in Indonesia is looking for a Mining Engineer to create pit optimization and mine designs. Candidates must have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Mine Plan Engineering, along with relevant certifications like POP and POM. A minimum of 5 years experience in related fields is essential, with at least 4 years in a similar position. Qualifications

• Minimum work experience of 8-10 years in Mine Plan Engineering.
• Preferred to have a Competent Person (CP) certificate in accordance with KCMI provisions.
• Experience in management roles for at least 4 years in similar positions.

Job description

• Create pit optimization and mine design.
• Create long-term planning (Life of Mine) and annual.
• Conduct quarterly planning reviews made by the engineering site.
• Conduct reviews and provide input on mining direction to ensure target achievement.
• Have experience and knowledge regarding the preparation and reporting of reserve calculation documents, feasibility studies and other related documents.
• Evaluate the level of complexity, volume and quality of OB material and coal that has been mined in the pit periodically.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of S1 majoring in Mining Engineering, and Geology.
• Minimum work experience of 8-10 years in the field of Mine Plan Engineering.
  Familiar in using engineering software (Minescape, Minex, Spray and other relevant software).
• Have a POP, POM certificate (preferred).
  Preferred to have a Competent Person (CP) certificate in accordance with KCMI provisions / other reporting standards
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in related fields
  Minimum 4 years in the same position
