Job description

Responsibilities

• Analyzing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.
• Create Merchandise plan by weekly, monthly, half year and yearly.
• In this plan is including: Sales target linked with store sales target; inventory plan, quantity for each store; collaborate with In‑store Merchandising team; promotion, marketing, price action plan and inter‑branch transfers for slow moving items.
• After creating the plan, manage and monitor the sales, gross profit and inventory condition and make decisions and actions accordingly to the business situation and trend.
• Communicate with production, factory, logistic team to ensure each item can be received 1‑2 wk before the launching date; revise and adjust the production plan based on sales tendency (quantity and delivery date).
• Create an assortment box of each item that is convenient and efficient for store, warehouse team and factory; this assortment must follow the rules and guidelines from the production team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Finance, Business Studies, Geography, etc.
• Experience in retail industry, minimum 3 years in a supervisory level.
• Analytical skills: enjoy analyzing data, identifying trends, risks and opportunities; comfortable with basic statistics.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills; able to deal with teams, higher management (up to MD), factory and stores; confident.
• Resilience under pressure: keep calm when under pressure.
• Quick thinking to spot trends, evaluate large amounts of data and make sound decisions; able to handle rapid changes and deadlines.
