A leading outdoor adventure retailer in Indonesia is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead their marketing team, develop strategies, and oversee digital channels. Ideal candidates must have hands-on marketing experience, team leadership skills, and a strong background in digital marketing. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the marketing function of a growing business connected to the outdoor lifestyle.
Technical Outdoor Indonesia is an adventure-focused retail and community hub that also operates as a distributor and wholesale partner for leading outdoor brands. We serve outdoor enthusiasts and partners across Indonesia through our retail, online, and B2B channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a small marketing team
Plan and execute marketing strategies across retail, distribution, wholesale, and online
Own all digital channels: marketplaces, website, social media, email, and online campaigns
Set clear marketing KPIs and build simple reporting to track performance
Analyse data (sales, traffic, conversion, ROAS, engagement) and use it to improve results
Plan and events and community activations
Test and iterate bold, creative, out-of-the-box ideas — but always with measurable outcomes
Requirements:
Solid hands-on experience in marketing (experience is more important than formal degrees)
Proven experience leading and managing a small team
Strong background in digital marketing, marketplaces, and social media
Experience in planning and running events (online or offline)
Comfortable working with numbers, dashboards, A/B tests, and KPIs
Able to turn data into decisions and clear action plans
Background in sports and the outdoor industry ispreferred
Problem solver, data-driven, and community-minded
