Job summary

A logistics company in Jakarta is seeking a Sales Logistic Forwarder to focus on developing new customers such as importers and manufacturers. Responsibilities include promoting comprehensive logistics services on the China–Indonesia route and conducting client visits to meet sales targets. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of sales experience, particularly in freight forwarding. Strong communication skills are essential, and being fluent in English is required; Mandarin is a bonus.

Sales Logistic Forwarder

Focus on developing new customers (importers, exporters, and manufacturers).

Promote one-stop logistics services on the China–Indonesia route, including sea freight, trucking, customs clearance, and warehousing.

Develop business opportunities for Indonesian exports and third-party trade (cross trade).

Conduct client visits, communicate via phone, and deliver service presentations to achieve sales targets.

Prepare visit reports, sales quotations, and customer follow-up data.

Work closely with the Sales Manager and internal teams to execute the company’s sales strategy.

Build and maintain long-term, stable, and professional relationships with customers.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales; experience in freight forwarding or export–import logistics is a plus.

Strong communication and persuasion skills with a target-oriented mindset.

Having an active export–import customer database or network is an advantage.

Educational background in marketing or a related field.

Fluent in English with good communication and presentation skills.

Added value: able to communicate in Mandarin.
