  • Provide clear, strategic, and pragmatic legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on day-to-day operations and key business initiatives
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and legal documents, including commercial agreements and partnership arrangements
  • Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments relevant to the company’s operations, especially in the travel and financial services sectors
  • Advise on regulatory compliance, licensing, and risk mitigation strategies in relation to new and existing products, and other key business initiatives
  • Support organic business expansion plans by advising on legal implications of the new key initiatives or new market (as relevant)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal and business risks and help develop practical solutions
  • Support legal awareness initiatives and provide basic training to other departments on legal-related topics
  • Conduct periodic internal legal reviews or audits to ensure the fulfillment of all legal compliances and obligations of the relevant products
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an in-house counsel or at a reputable law firm; experience in the travel or financial services industry is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge in legal drafting, contract negotiation, and risk analysis
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking, and business acumen in providing legal advice
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working under pressure and handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
