This role plays a crucial part in developing high-quality courses and curricula focused on medical coding and billing. As part of the Education/Product team, the ideal candidate will blend instructional design expertise with collaborative strategies to create effective and engaging learning experiences. The position requires a deep understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning strategies, and digital content development in a fast-paced, agile environment. A strong proficiency in Articulate Storyline is essential, along with demonstrated experience in integrating AI technologies to enhance educational workflows and learner engagement.

Accountabilities

• Collaborate with SMEs to assess learning needs and design instructional strategies.
• Create engaging course content for online and hybrid delivery.
• Develop comprehensive storyboards outlining course structure and flow.
• Utilize expert knowledge of Articulate Storyline for high-quality learning experiences.
• Develop assessments that measure learning outcomes and performance improvement.
• Translate complex medical concepts into accessible, learner-friendly content.
• Manage end-to-end course development processes, including timelines and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility and Section 508 standards.
• Conduct iterative quality assurance checks and apply feedback for improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation for instructional materials and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor''s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Instructional Design or Learning Sciences preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design for adult learning.
• Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Expert in eLearning tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Extensive experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Knowledge of accessibility and 508 compliance requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience translating technical or medical information into instructional content.
• Experience integrating AI technologies to enhance educational content.
• Medical coding or healthcare education background is a plus.
