What is the role about?

As the Industry Manager, you will be responsible for driving market development, particularly in the food and beverage (F&B) industry. This is a technical and strategic marketing position, which will allow you to act as the industry expert, combining deep market insight with engineering know-how to support our customers and strengthen our position in the F&B sector.

Which tasks will you perform?

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the F&B ecosystem in Indonesia, identifying key stakeholders and building strategic relationships to drive business opportunities and long-term growth
• Analyse market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to develop tailored value propositions and application-specific solutions
• Collaborate closely with our production centers globally to shape and enhance the F&B portfolio, ensuring offerings are aligned with local market demands
• Define, develop, and manage the national pricing strategy by localizing the approach, in close collaboration with corporate pricing teams and regional entities
• Strengthen project acquisition efforts by collaborating closely with internal teams and representative partners across the Endress+Hauser network
• Support knowledge sharing by educating customers and sales partners on industry-relevant applications, emerging trends, and best practices
• Provide market insights and field intelligence to the Marketing Director to support short- and long-term strategic planning, including feedback on industry trends, competitive landscape, product needs, and sales forecasts

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Automation Engineering, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation or process automation within the F&B industry. Additional experience in marketing, business development, or consulting is an advantage
• Strong understanding of the F&B industry landscape in Indonesia, including technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Very good command of English
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
