Job summary

A leading food company in Jakarta Utara is seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to develop hygiene policies and oversee sanitation activities across various outlets. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or related fields, along with at least 3 years of experience in the F&B industry. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and pest control practices is necessary. This role also involves training staff and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute hygiene policies, SOPs, and sanitation programs aligned with food safety regulations (BPOM, Halal, HACCP).

Oversee daily sanitation activities for the central kitchen, production area, and outlets.

Conduct regular hygiene inspections, risk assessments, and internal audits to maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Coordinate with Production and Quality Control teams to ensure hygiene practices are consistently followed.

Manage pest control activities and ensure proper waste management systems are in place.

Train and coach staff on hygiene best practices, personal hygiene, and proper food handling procedures.

Investigate hygiene-related complaints, incidents, and non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain and manage hygiene documentation, reports, and audit preparations.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Hygiene Manager or Hygiene Supervisor in the F&B industry.

Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BPOM, and Halal certification processes.

Experience in centralized kitchen or multi-outlet F&B operations is preferred.

Excellent understanding of sanitation standards, pest control, and waste management practices.

Good communication and training skills to lead hygiene awareness across departments.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with hygiene audit documentation.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong problem-solving skills.
