Job summary

A leading oil company in Batam is looking for an HR Manager to develop operational plans and manage payroll for over 300 employees. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience. Key responsibilities include overseeing labor relations, executing employee engagement initiatives, and managing the HR budget. Job description

Develop the Annual HR Operational Plan and HR budget aligned with company goals.

Manage end-to-end payroll for 300+ employees, ensure compliance with PPh21 & BPJS, and oversee payroll disbursement and monthly compensation reports via HRMS.

Handle employee tax reporting and ensure timely statutory submissions.

Lead employee relations and industrial relations activities, including managing disputes, disciplinary actions, and representing the company in labor union negotiations.

Support Organization Development (OD) initiatives, including improving organizational structure, workforce effectiveness, and HR processes.

Execute People Development (PD) programs such as competency assessment, talent mapping, and development planning.

Manage the full employee training cycle (TNA, planning, execution, and evaluation) and coordinate internal/external training programs.

Lead employee engagement initiatives and drive culture improvement based on feedback and analysis.

Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding in alignment with workforce planning.

Prepare workforce analytics, performance dashboards, and monthly HR & cost reports to support HR leadership.

Deliver training to internal teams on labor law, tax compliance, and recruitment processes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Law, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian labor law, BPJS, and PPh21.
  • Experience in OD/PD programs and training management is preferred.
  • Familiar with HR systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in HRMS systems, data reporting, and HR analytics.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage confidential information and work independently.
