A leading mining company in Indonesia is seeking an HR Supervisor to manage full-spectrum HR Site Operations. The ideal candidate will lead a local HR team, foster employee engagement, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include overseeing HR administration, handling employee grievances, and facilitating communication between local workers and expatriate management. A Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of HR experience are required, with fluency in English essential and Mandarin preferred.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Supervisor to serve as the crucial business partner to our Site Management team. You will be the key person responsible for driving the full spectrum of HR Site Operations, leading the local HR team, and ensuring a harmonious industrial environment to support our mining production targets in a competitive market.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role demanding a high level of business acumen, strong leadership skills, and exceptional adaptive communication to manage interactions with diverse hiring managers, employees (from operators to expatriates), and the HR leadership.
HR Site Operations & Leadership: Manage the end-to-end HR daily operations at the site (Attendance, Payroll Support, HR Administration) ensuring 100% data accuracy and efficiency. Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the HR admin/staff team to ensure service excellence.
Business Partnership: Act as the primary partner and liaison for Site Managers and Heads of Departments. Proactively engage in regular coordination meetings to deeply understand operational needs (manpower planning, shift scheduling) and translate them into robust HR solutions.
Industrial Relations & Compliance: Conduct in-depth handling of employee grievances and disciplinary issues (Industrial Relations), focusing on conflict resolution and regulatory compliance. Ensure all HR practices align with Company Regulations and Indonesian Labor Law to maintain industrial peace.
Employee Lifecycle & Engagement: Proactively manage the site employee database and talent movements (rotation, promotion, demotion). Coordinate and execute the new hire onboarding process and employee engagement activities to ensure smooth integration and high retention.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Law, Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a relevant field.
Experience: A mandatory minimum of 3-5 years of full-time experience in HR Generalist or HR Operations roles (non-fresh graduate, Supervisor/Senior Staff level). Experience in a fast-paced environment (PMA, Mining, Smelter, or Manufacturing industry) is highly preferred.
Knowledge & Certification: In-depth, practical knowledge of Indonesian Labor Law (UU Ketenagakerjaan/Cipta Kerja), Industrial Relations handling, and HRIS. A professional certification in HR (CHRP, CHRS, BNSP) is a strong advantage.
Language: Mandatory fluency in English (for daily communication with expatriate users and reporting). Proficiency in Mandarin is a major advantage and will be a key consideration in the compensation package.
Skills: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and adaptive skills to bridge communication between local workers and Expatriate management. Strong business acumen and the ability to work under pressure in a remote site environment. Ability to work independently, efficiently, and proactively in a high-pressure environment.
