Job description
Responsibilities
  • Business Operations Management – Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the travel retail area, ensuring compliance with airport regulations, operational excellence and efficient coordination across all functions.
  • Stakeholder Relations – Act as the primary liaison with airport management teams, government or regulatory authorities and retail partners to maintain strong collaboration and ensure smooth business processes.
  • Tenant Management – Lead communication and with retailers, from onboarding and space allocation to ongoing partnership management.
  • Business Development – Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to enhance the commercial performance of the travel retail area.
  • Operational Excellence – Monitor performance metrics (sales, customer experience, operational efficiency), identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to optimize results.
  • Team Leadership – Manage and motivate an on‑ground team to achieve operational goals and deliver a premium retail experience aligned with company standards.
  • Compliance & Safety – Ensure all operational activities comply with airport regulations, safety standards and internal policies.
  • Reporting & Analysis – Prepare regular business performance reports and provide insights for management decision‑making.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Retail or a related field.
    • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in retail operations, commercial management or business development, preferably within travel retail, airport retail or similar regulated environments.
    • Strong experience in managing relationships with airport authorities and external stakeholders.
    • Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to handle on‑ground operational teams.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
    • Highly mobile and field‑oriented – comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced, and operational environment.
    • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both verbal and written).
