Overview

Program Excellence & Educational Leadership – Oversee, guide, and evaluate early years learning programs that reflect play-based learning, ensuring high teaching standards.

People & Operations Leadership – Lead daily playschool operations while inspiring and managing teachers and staff, fostering a collaborative team culture and overseeing schedules, budgets, and reporting.

Parent & Community Engagement – Build strong partnerships with parents through communication, reports, and Parent-Teacher Meetings, while strengthening Malajah’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide early years learning programs with a focus on play-based learning and high teaching standards.
• Lead daily playschool operations, manage teachers and staff, and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, reporting, and other operational activities.
• Develop and nurture parent and community partnerships through effective communication and meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Head of Playschool or in a senior leadership role in Early Childhood Education, with strong knowledge of play-based learning; familiarity with Reggio Emilia is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, with demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operations, and oversee budgets, schedules, and reporting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; fluent in English (spoken and written), with excellent interpersonal skills to engage parents, mentor teachers, and represent the school.
