Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of senior experience leading human services operations.
  • Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).
  • Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC).

About The Role

Lead the strategic integration of health and community programmes that make a real difference. In this senior leadership role, you’ll oversee diverse portfolios including homelessness, Aboriginal health, health promotion, alcohol and other drug services, and vocational programmes. Reporting to the Deputy CEO, you’ll drive operational excellence, foster collaboration, and ensure services deliver measurable impact across South Australia.

We’re looking for a dynamic leader with proven experience managing multi‑service teams and budgets, building strong partnerships, and guiding change. You’ll champion quality, compliance, and innovation while shaping sustainable growth. Experience Requirements
  • Proven experience leading geographically dispersed, multi‑service teams, ensuring consistent performance and service quality.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, implementation and improvement of new programmes or service initiatives.
  • Strong track record in people leadership, including recruitment, coaching, performance management and professional development.
  • Experience guiding teams through change and growth while maintaining engagement, accountability and outcomes.
Qualification and Other Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in community services, health, leadership and/or management – or minimum of 7 years senior experience leading human services operations.
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).
  • Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC).
