A leading provider of outsourcing solutions is looking for a Head of Business Unit to oversee their IT Outsourcing and Talent Solutions sector. This permanent, full-time role requires a seasoned leader with 8–12 years of experience in the industry and a strong ability to manage multi-functional teams. The successful candidate will ensure high service quality, manage the P&L, and drive recruitment for IT positions. The position offers a hybrid work setup and competitive compensation.

We are seeking a seasoned leader with 8–12 years of proven experience in IT outsourcing / professional IT services, IT recruitment & headhunting, IT training/bootcamp, BPO, or managed services to lead and scale our Business Unit.
The ideal candidate has successfully overseen multi-functional teams of 15–30 members, understands the full spectrum of technical IT roles (developer, QA, PM, BA, data, etc.), and possesses strong business acumen in the outsourcing and talent solutions ecosystem.
This role requires someone who can blend operational excellence, commercial strategy, P&L ownership, and deep understanding of IT talent supply chain, while driving high performance across Recruitment, Delivery/Operations, Sales/Account Management, and Training.
Hands‑on IT experience (3–5 years) will be a strong advantage in understanding client needs, evaluating talent, and elevating service quality.
1. Business Unit Leadership
Lead and manage a multi-functional team of 15–30+ staff across Recruitment, Delivery/Operational, Sales/Account Management, and Training functions.
Establish clear performance targets, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for each division.
Build a high-performance culture with strong collaboration and continuous capability development.
2. Outsourcing & Talent Operations Management
Oversee full operational delivery of IT outsourcing, managed services, BPO, and IT talent solutions.
Ensure high levels of utilization, deployment speed, service quality, and SLA fulfillment.
Manage end-to-end talent supply chain, including sourcing, screening, technical validation, onboarding, and placement.
Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, staffing models, and delivery frameworks.
3. Recruitment Lifecycle Ownership
Lead the recruitment and technical talent acquisition strategy for IT roles (developer, QA, PM, BA, data, DevOps, cybersecurity, etc.).
Ensure recruitment pipelines are healthy, fast-moving, and aligned with client demand.
Implement competency frameworks and evaluation standards for IT talent.
Strengthen the overall recruitment lifecycle, from lead generation to candidate onboarding.
4. Client & Business Growth
Partner closely with Sales/Account teams to expand outsourcing engagements and secure new business opportunities.
Participate in client meetings to understand technical requirements, propose solutions, and ensure delivery readiness.
Represent the BU as a subject matter expert in IT roles and outsourcing models.
Own and manage the Business Unit P&L, including revenue, cost structure, margin, utilization, and delivery profitability.
Forecast business performance, optimize resource allocation, and drive cost‑efficiency.
Develop commercial strategies for growth across outsourcing, recruitment, and training services.
6. Strategic Planning & Business Development
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for scaling outsourcing, managed services, IT bootcamp/training, and talent solutions.
Build partnerships with training providers, universities, and tech communities to strengthen talent supply.
Ensure the BU remains competitive through innovation in talent acquisition, delivery models, and client offerings.
7. Governance, Quality, and Stakeholder Management
Implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance, service quality, and operational excellence.
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships—both internal (Board, HR, Finance, Delivery) and external (clients, partners).
Monitor and mitigate risks related to delivery, staffing, and client commitments.
8–12 years experience in IT Outsourcing / IT Staffing / IT Recruitment / IT Training Bootcamp / BPO / Managed Services.
Proven leadership of multi-functional teams (15–30+ people) across Recruitment, Delivery/Ops, Sales, or Training.
Strong understanding of IT roles & skillsets (Developer, QA, PM, BA, Data, DevOps, Infra, etc.).
Solid business acumen in outsourcing: utilization, margin, SLA, rate cards, client delivery.
Experience with P&L, budget, or operational performance management is a major plus.
3–5 years hands‑on IT experience (technical or IT project role) is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities.
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s is a plus.
