We're Hiring: Ground Monitoring Engineer (Full-Time, Shift-Based)

Location: Bali, Indonesia | 🕒 Shift-Based | 💼 Full-time

Join our growing team at PT Geobotica Inovasi Indonesia, where we build advanced geospatial and geotechnical monitoring solutions for the mining, infrastructure, and environmental industries. We’re looking for a motivated Ground Monitoring Engineer—perfect for fresh graduates or candidates with around one year of experience—who is eager to learn and grow in a technical, data-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Monitoring real-time dashboards and sensor systems during assigned shifts (day/night/weekends)
  • Detecting anomalies and escalating them according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly technical monitoring reports in English
  • Conducting smooth shift handovers and maintaining detailed logs
  • Analyzing time-series data and observing ground movement patterns
  • Supporting basic interpretation of geotechnical and geodetic data
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve monitoring workflows and data quality
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geotechnical Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Geology, or related fields
  • Fresh graduate or early-career professional (±1 year experience preferred)
  • Able to communicate clearly in English when speaking and writing (sufficient for client-facing discussions)
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts (day/night/weekends)
  • Skilled in technical report writing and interested in data analytics
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to stay focused under pressure
  • Organized, proactive, and eager to develop expertise in ground and sensor monitoring
  • Bonus: Familiarity with monitoring technologies (InSAR, GB-SAR, LiDAR, GNSS) or basic scripting (Python/R/SQL)
