About Our Client

Job Description
  • Prepare samples for customer requests, internal evaluations, and quality checks.
  • Create or adapt flavour profiles to meet client specifications and support new technology initiatives.
  • Review and assess raw materials for suitability in flavour creation.
  • Manage daily tasks and assigned projects, ensuring compliance with manufacturing practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to resolve production challenges and customer concerns.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to strengthen technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (chemistry, sensory, regulatory, manufacturing) to expand knowledge and drive innovation.
  • Provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders on ingredient performance.
  • Contribute to research discussions and propose ideas for future projects.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Flavorist should have:

  • Graduate of a recognized Flavourist program with a degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Biology.
  • 3-6 years of experience in sweet flavour development (confectionery, bakery, beverages).
  • Strong sensory skills and ability to adjust formulations to meet regulatory and customer needs.
  • Experience with Technology Innovation in Food or Flavours
  • Strong Communication & Presentation skills, coupled with Customer-facing and Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of Analytical Methodologies (G.C. HPLC, Mass Spec.)
  • Deep understanding of raw materials and flavour systems.
  • Skilled in applying innovative technologies to enhance product development.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring flavour assistants.
