Job summary

A leading insurance company in Jakarta Utara is seeking an experienced financial manager to oversee financial controls, reporting, and compliance with IFRS regulations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of financial management experience in life insurance or with life insurance clientele from big four institutions. Strong leadership skills and comprehensive knowledge of IFRS 17 are essential for this role, alongside excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of financial management experience in life insurance or big four experience with life insurance clientele.
  • Minimum 5 years proven leadership experience overseeing finance/accounting/treasury functions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS related to life insurance company, including IFRS 17, IFRS 9 and relevant tax regulations.

  • Treasury & capital management, including monitoring and managing cash flow.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Financial controls & reporting to maintain the organization’s financial integrity.
  • Treasury & capital management, including monitoring, forecasting, and managing cash flow in coordination with the investment team to optimize returns.
  • Ensuring accounting compliance with IFRS/PSAK, particularly IFRS 17 (PSAK 117), as well as tax regulations.
  • Billing & collection, working closely with the distribution team and financial institutions to improve collection performance, customer experience, and process efficiency.
  • Investment operations, strengthening controls and improving process efficiency across investment activities, reporting, and partner relationships with banks and custodians.
  • Strong leadership and team development.
