Job description

Lead and manage the Finance, Accounting, and Tax (FAT) function to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, costing, and cash flow management to support the company’s operational and strategic goals.

Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and group reporting policies.

Conduct regular financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to management.

Manage the audit process (internal and external), ensuring smooth coordination with auditors and other stakeholders.

Develop and implement strong internal controls and financial procedures across business units.

Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous improvement and professional development.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting.
  • Preferably with experience in Big 4 Accounting Firms (Audit or Advisory background).
  • Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent qualification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as Financial Controller (or similar senior finance role) in Palm Oil, Mining, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L, costing, balance sheet, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities: integrity, accountability, and the ability to lead under pressure.
  • Strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills.
