Responsibilities
- Perform full set of accounting duties for a few small sets of company accounts, ensuring records are maintained in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards.
- Prepare monthly tax reports such as VAT, PPH 21, PPH 23 etc.
- Responsible for monthly accounts closing and reporting including Bank Reconciliation, P&L Statement and Balance Sheet.
- Liaise with auditors on yearly company audits.
- Perform any other additional duties assigned by team leader on an ad-hoc basis.
- Check invoice verification to ensure purchase process is in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Prepare and issue cheques for vendors.
- Reconcile vendor’s statement of account and liaise with vendor on payment issues.
- Ensure proper filing of invoices and documents.
- Maintain detailed and organized company records, prepare corporate communications, and ensure compliance with corporate laws and regulations.
- Manage day‑to‑day secretarial support and administrative works.
- Record and expense management: proper filing of records, reports, and processing expense claims.
- Provide administrative support to the Director.
- Assist with ad‑hoc assignments as required.
Key Attributes
- Professional speaking and writing in English is mandatory.
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting or related accounting qualifications.
- Minimum 4‑5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities.
- Self‑starter who can plan, organise and take initiative to meet objectives and deadlines independently.
- Can‑do attitude, driven and passionate about work.
- Close attention to detail and problem‑solving skills, reducing transaction issues.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail coupled with strong organisational skills ensures a streamlined and efficient process.
- Ability to maintain precise records and proficiency in a number of accounting applications.
- Works well in a team, with a high degree of responsibility.
- Works well under pressure and reacts flexibly to changes in business needs.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Jurnal.id accounting software is an added advantage.
- Well‑versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Employment time can be part‑time/full‑time.
