Job description

We are assisting our client, a fast-growing Venture Capital firm, in finding a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Accounting Associate to support their finance operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with top-tier investment professionals, supporting the financial backbone of innovative startups and growing portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full cycle of day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings, preparing financial statements in accordance with PSAK and IFRS.

  • Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates on liquidity positions to support investment decisions.

  • Maintain and update comprehensive financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (investment, legal, operations) to ensure correct cost center allocation and fund-level reporting.

  • Support external audit processes, including preparing audit schedules and responding to audit queries.

  • Assist in tax compliance, including VAT, PPh, and corporate tax filings in coordination with third-party tax consultants.

  • Support financial reporting for investors, including capital call tracking, NAV reporting, and portfolio valuation inputs.

  • Recommend and help implement improvements in accounting systems, processes, and reporting automation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome; 1-2 years of experience in accounting

  • Strong understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), IFRS, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting and ERP systems (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Oracle) and advanced in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formula building).
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  • Integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
