Job summary

A technology firm in Indonesia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to handle installations and commissioning of power distribution systems, UPS, and cooling units. Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3–5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in electrical measurement tools and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues are required. This role offers an opportunity to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Qualifications

Job description

Electrical Engineer (Ahli Teknik Ketenagalistrikan)

Install, wire, and commission power distribution panels (MDB, SMDB, DB).

Install UPS systems, battery banks, perform wiring, startup, and testing.

Install PAC/CRAC units and Split AC electrical connections.

Read and interpret electrical drawings: single-line diagrams, layouts, grounding plans.

Perform cable pulling, tray installation, conduit work, and grounding system installation.

Conduct troubleshooting for tripping, voltage instability, UPS alarms, and basic electrical issues.

Ensure work complies with Indonesian electrical and safety standards (K3 & ESDM regulations).

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3–5 years experience in strong‑current electrical installation.

Able to use electrical measurement tools: multimeter, clamp meter, megger, phase tester.

Experience in data center, factory, or industrial installation is preferred.

Able to work independently and in a team; willing to travel if required.

Preferred Skills (Plus Points)

Experience with UPS installation (Huawei, Schneider, Eaton, Socomec, etc.).

Knowledge of precision cooling systems (PAC/CRAC).

Ability to read technical manuals in English.

Holding SIO (Surat Izin Operasional) is a strong advantage.
