eCommerce Associate role is to optimize the hotel’s online presence, drive bookings, and increase revenue by managing digital content, marketing strategies, and distribution channels. Ultimately, the role focuses on enhancing the guest experience, improving online reputation, and supporting revenue growth through strategic e-commerce activities.
What you will do:
- Regularly update and maintain content on hotel websites, third-party booking platforms, and online travel agencies (OTAs) to ensure accurate, up-to-date information about rates, room availability, and promotions.
- Ensure rate parity across all online distribution channels, including OTAs and the hotel’s website, to avoid discrepancies that could harm relationships or revenue.
- Regularly monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends to inform the hotel’s e-commerce pricing strategies and keep the hotel competitive.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure online campaigns, email marketing, and social media promotions align with the overall sales and branding strategies.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for online bookings, traffic, and sales conversion to inform optimization efforts.
- Work with revenue managers to ensure the correct rate structure is in place across all digital platforms and is aligned with the hotel’s overall revenue strategy.
- Participate in yield management tactics to optimize revenue through dynamic pricing.
- Maintain relationships with all the OTA partners.
You will fit in this job if you:
- Min. 3 year experience in Travel / Hotel Industry
- Min. Bachelor Degree or Diploma (Majoring Tourism or Hospitality field will be plus)
- Possess good knowledge on Travel / Hotel Industry
- Strong analytical thinking and good data analysis skills
- Posses at least basic Spreadsheet & Ms Office Skills
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player and also initiating action.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
