Deputy Factory Manager (Mandarin speaking, high salary )
Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end production, quality, safety, and cost control to achieve annual business targets;
  • Optimize production workflows, enhance equipment utilization and capacity efficiency, and reduce operational costs;
  • Lead local supply chain integration in Indonesia, coordinating raw material procurement, logistics, and warehousing;
  • Manage a team of Chinese and Indonesian employees, balancing Chinese corporate culture with local workforce needs and boosting team cohesion;
  • Develop localized talent development programs, establish effective communication channels, and resolve cross-cultural conflicts.
Compliance & Risk Control
  • Ensure plant operations comply with Indonesian labor laws, environmental regulations, and industry safety standards;
  • Maintain local government relations and handle compliance emergencies.
Strategic Alignment
  • Align with China HQ’s strategy to implement technical and management standards in the Indonesian plant;
  • Report operational data to HQ regularly and propose localization improvements.
Qualifications
  • Core Background - Have full working rights for Indonesia, with deep understanding of Indonesian society and culture; Languages: Chinese (working language) and Indonesian (local communication); English proficiency is a plus.
  • Industry Experience - 8+ years in manufacturing/plant management, including at least 3 years in senior leadership roles within Indonesian plants; Proven expertise in Indonesian labor laws, environmental policies, and industrial park regulations, with hands-on compliance case experience.
  • Leadership Skills - Demonstrated success in leading cross-cultural teams, motivating local employees, and driving transformation; Track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, or optimizing supply chains.
  • Cultural Fit - Familiar with Chinese corporate management styles, adept at bridging HQ-local team differences; Willing to adapt to Sulawesi’s remote work environment and commit to long-term residency.
