Job description

You will be working with our industry leading team, designing and testing cutting edge scientific ideas and maths for the management technology of DELOS.

Our team blend academic deep science with commercial application of this science, which is well suited to those looking to apply advanced techniques to real-world data and problems.

You may have created end-to-end products or had a deep focus on a specific scientific problem. Either way, you will have used leading data science techniques and methodologies to solve complex problems in unique ways.

You will be working with a scientific team and farming team, proven to be at the cutting edge of the industry. We are thought leaders in aquaculture and your ideas and creations will impact the livelihoods of thousands of people.

This role is full of variety here are a few things you could be working on:

• Implement data science skills and principles to maximise and create value for core DELOS products
• Support data strategy and maintain data systems
• Work closely with our science teams to blend research with data science to create powerful predictive algorithms
• Design math-based solutions to biological problems such as the role of randomness or weather probability
• Selectively utilise machine learning tools to maximise DELOS product accuracy and effectiveness
• Constantly evaluate real value and accuracy of models, to minimise drift and maximise value
• Be inventive and bring your unique ideas and perspectives to radically accelerate RnD of models
• Understand and adapt data science to react and reflect the complexities of data quality

About You

• Degree or work experience in the field of data science or mathematics
• Experienced at solving problems using data-led technologies
• A team player, ready to jump across teams to maintain rapid business growth
• Have developed from ground-up,algorithms to solve a complex problem set
• Strong technical knowledge in: SQL, Python, R, TensorFlow etc.
• High intellectual curiosity passion for technology evolution
• Highly detailed with a systematic approach with an attitude of extreme ownership
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia
• Comfortable speaking and communicating in English
• PhD in Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
• 2+ years experience inn analytics and data roles
