Job description

Responsibilities

• Defines and establishes the company’s data governance framework and performance metrics to ensure proper management of all critical data elements
• Defines the roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensures accountability for the stewardship of critical data elements
• Develops and maintains key artefacts (e.g. business glossary, data catalogue) and documentation (e.g. policies, standards, SoPs)
• Deploying and enforcing policies and procedures that ensure data is used and maintained properly and consistently
• Work closely with business areas to improve the quality and value of critical data elements and respond to regulatory protection requirements.
• Promoting efficient, accurate records, and effective information management throughout the organization
• Working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure escalation for governance, data quality and protection issues.
• Evaluate concerns in governing data, including problem definitions, opportunity and solution recommendations, and root cause analysis.

What you bring

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum three years of work experience in data governance in an end‑user environment
• Experience with local & global data privacy regulation (e.g. GDPR, PI)
• Strong sense of ownership
• Good computer and superior communications skills
• Problem solving mindset
