Job summary

A leading maritime logistics operator in Indonesia is seeking a Data Analyst to monitor and analyze vessel usage data. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering and have at least one year of data analysis experience. Strong analytical thinking and communication skills are essential. The position is based at the Head Office in Surabaya.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and record consumption reports for engines.
  • Provide recommendations regarding data quality for performance improvement.
  • Collect and analyze monthly lube oil consumption reports.
  • Record all off-hire incidents and prepare summary reports.
  • Compile reports for incidents of collision and grounding.
  • Prepare reports on Fresh Water Generator production data.
  • Support improvement projects by the Research & Training team.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for collecting, monitoring, analyzing, and recording all relevant data related to vessel usage from the Ship Management division.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, analyze, and record consumption reports for Main Engines, Auxiliary Engines, and other machinery across various platforms; assist management in decision-making based on summarized data.
  • Monitor, analyze, and record engine performance reports for each vessel; provide recommendations regarding data quality to ensure continuous performance improvement and compliance with company standards.
  • Collect and analyze monthly lube oil consumption reports for each vessel; support management in decision-making and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving lube oil consumption to meet company standards.
  • Record all off-hire incidents from each vessel and prepare summarized reports for management review.
  • Record all incidents of collision and grounding, and compile summarized reports for submission to management.
  • Record Fresh Water Generator production data and prepare summarized reports for management.
  • Provide support for improvement projects conducted by the Research & Training team.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering or related Engineering major.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as Data Analyst.
  • Possess solid experience and knowledge in the engineering matters.
  • Willing to carry out administrative tasks.
  • Proper analytical thinking and communication skill.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Willing to be placed at Head Office, Surabaya.
